The Vetrice estate has a pleasant room dedicated to
wine-tasting that can also receive groups. The Grati family will let you taste their wines
along with other traditional products from the area, and then tour the cellars to see the
oak aging casks, and the "vinsantaia". The conditions in the cellars are ideal
for aging the wines since the temperature remains constant, day and night, throughout the
year; this important factor prevents the wines from undergoing any changes or alterations.
You can purchase our products in the store next to the cellars. The Vetrice lake, at the
edge of the property, offers fine trout fishing. Once, Galiga was the vacation home and
hunting lodge of Florentine nobles, today it is a flourishing agritourism-hunting estate
where there is an abundance of pheasants, partridges and hares, while the nearby Galiga
lake offers fine duck-hunting.
