OCTOBER 2004 The harvest was very good. The grapes got the right ripeness 15 days later, but the grapes were very safe and we picked them at the right point. The weather was very good up to the end of the harvest.
APRIL 2004 We will stay in Verona at the Hall 8 Stand C3 at Vinitaly from 1st to 5th of April. We will wait you there.
DECEMBER 2003 We had a very important reduction on the quantity of oil, owing to the lack of water during the summer and a bad frost in spring. We beleive we have lost a 70% of the production. It happened all around Italy. The quality of the oil is very good.
OCTOBER 2003 The quantity of grapes we got during the harvest was quite low, owning to the lack of water during the summer, but the quality of it is very high. We think the vintage 2003 will be outstanding.
DECEMBER 2002 According with Marco Oreggia (oil journalist) and the U.M.A.O. (Mediterrian Union of tasters of olive oil) the Vetrice oil is the best fruity intense extravirgin olive oil in Italy.

DECEMBER 2002 The olives harvest has starded on the first of November. The yield of the olive oil was just the 11% of the weight of the olives. The low quantity has been compasated by the quality of the oil.
OCTOBER 2002 The harvest was good. We had to leave the grapes of the vinyards that were damaged by the typhoon. The bad weather in August did not effect too much on the ripeness of the grapes. because we had a good weather in September.
AUGUST 2002 A typhoon has damaged some vinyards. Grato Grati do not remember something like that.
19th DECEMBER 2001 Carlotta has arrived

29th SEPTEMBER 2000 The harvest was good up to the end of it.
11th SEPTEMBER 2000 The harvest is started. The white grapes and the black grapes are magnificent.
8th AUGUST 2000 The grapes are very well and riper than usual; they are 15 days in advance.

The new vines are already grown up to 1,2 meters.

APRIL 2000

The Vetrice Oil has won the most important Italian award: the "Ercole Olivario".
First, it was included into the Selection of Tuscany Region with 17 other extravirgin olive oilsi; then it was selected with 4 of them to represent Tuscany at the National Competition Ercole Olivario in Spoleto. At the end it was considered the best one into the fruity intense category of 62 oils from all over the country.

FEBRUARY 2000

We have ploughed some fields in order to make some new vineyards.

NOVEMBER 1999

The olive harvest was good in quantity, but the percentage of  oil we got was very low ( just 10.3%), that boosted a bit, up to 13.5%.

The harvest finished on December 10th.

The oil is thick, fruity and intense green.             Total Acidity: 0.15%.

OCTOBER 1999 The harvest was good; the weather was hot and dry. The small quantity of rain didn't spoil the grapes and the quality of the wine, which is full-bodied.
